Questions people actually ask
Is that really not per person?
It is really not per person. Pro is $9.99 a month for the whole workspace, whether that is you alone or thirty people. Per-seat pricing quietly punishes you for inviting the person who most needs to see the board, and we would rather the board have everyone on it.
What does "1 project per organization" actually mean?
A project is one board — one client, one launch, one workstream. On Free, each organization you create can hold a single project, and you can still invite two other people into it. Personal projects outside an organization work the same way. When you need a second board, that is the moment Pro starts paying for itself.
Is billing live right now?
Checkout is live and runs through RevenueCat, so upgrading works end to end. While NeonBoard is in open beta it is pointed at RevenueCat’s test environment: you can walk the whole flow and no card is ever charged. Nothing on Free is restricted during the beta either — Pro is there early if you want to support the work.
Monthly or yearly?
Yearly is $79.99, which works out at $6.67 a month — roughly 33% off, or four months free. Monthly is $9.99 and you can leave whenever you like. Both buy exactly the same thing; switch between them any time from the customer portal.
How do I cancel, or change my card?
From your profile, under Subscription — "Manage subscription" opens the RevenueCat customer portal, where you can change plan, update your card, download invoices and cancel. No email to us, no retention maze.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your boards go read-only above the Free limits until you either upgrade again or bring yourself back under them, and you can export everything to CSV or JSON at any time — including while your account is read-only.
Non-profits, schools, tiny studios?
Get in touch. If you are a registered non-profit, a school, or a two-person studio finding the price awkward, we would rather have you on the product than not.
What if we need something bigger?
