1. Who we are, and agreeing to these terms
NeonBoard is a task and sprint board for small teams, operated by the NeonBoard team (“NeonBoard”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you use NeonBoard on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind that company to these terms.
2. Your account
You need an email address and a password to use NeonBoard. Keep them safe; what happens under your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 16 years old. You can delete your account at any time from your profile page, which permanently removes your personal projects and any organizations you created.
3. Your content
Everything you put on a board (tasks, comments, attachments, documents) stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store it, display it to the people you share it with, and back it up. Do not upload content you have no right to share, anything illegal, or anything that harms other people or the service. We may remove content that breaks these rules and, in serious cases, close the account.
4. Free and Pro
The Free plan includes one project per organization (and one personal project) with up to three people, and it does not expire. NeonBoard Pro removes those limits for the whole workspace covered by the paying account: an organization is covered by the account that created it, a personal project by its owner. Pro is priced per workspace, never per seat. The current prices and what each plan includes are on the pricing page.
5. Subscriptions, renewals and cancellation
Pro is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically until cancelled, and, where offered, as a one-time founder pass that does not renew. Payment is handled by RevenueCat on the web and, in the iPhone app, by Apple through your Apple ID. Where a free trial is offered, the subscription starts charging when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
You can cancel a web subscription from the subscription section of your profile page (RevenueCat’s customer portal); a subscription bought in the iPhone app is managed and cancelled in your Apple ID settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period already paid for. Refunds for purchases made through Apple are handled by Apple under its terms. For web purchases, write to us within 14 days of a charge and we will sort it out.
If a paid subscription lapses, nothing is deleted. Boards above the Free limits become read-only until you subscribe again or bring the workspace back under the limits, and you can export your data at any time.
6. Price changes
If we change the price of Pro we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it affects a renewal, and you can cancel before then.
7. The service
We work hard to keep NeonBoard available and to look after your data, but we provide the service as it is, without a warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or retire features, and we will give reasonable notice of anything that affects your data. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using NeonBoard and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or the service at risk, and we will say why unless the law prevents it.
9. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we update the date at the top and, for anything material, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use NeonBoard after that means you accept the new terms.
